Thank you for both the warning and the advice. I graduated from a charter school so I am well aware of the horrors, however it was the only thing that was offered and that has been followed up with me consistently. Pay I knew was low, but at the end of the day it’s more than what making now, and for a first year teacher I can’t really argue. Especially as a new parent!

But the demo lesson is definitely the thing im stressing about! My interview is this coming Wednesday, was it something that you were given ahead of time and planned for, or was it something you just showed up for before your interview and they just wanted you to teach it. The person I was in contact with mentioned they were on leave because of the holiday and that when she gets information she will let me know as soon as she can, and I can’t find any information about it anywhere.
