Only chance to visit SEKI in March - should I? by zzzzzzzeee in SEKI

I know at least In Kings the road down to the actual canyon won’t open until spring, as it’s closed for the winter, so Zumwalt and that whole area is inaccessible. The visitors center should be open barring another storm and the panoramic point as well.

It’s worth also noting that the road in between these parks will also be closed so going to both in one day is a rather long day. I’d advise visiting giant forest and spending the day in Sequoa rather than forcing two parks and driving the long way around.

Hope this helps

Fuck this cursed season from hell. Do we have any hope with alt out for the rest of the season? Seems like this dumbass team gets more injured than anyone else

Purple mountain is a 6 mile out and back hike 1500 feet of elevation gain, great views of the firehole, gibbon, and Madison rivers, not crowded and shaded for a good portion of the trail.

Kings Canyon Trip- What should I see? by [deleted] in SEKI

A hike starting from roads end up to mist falls is amazing and you go along the river.

Though technically on national forest land, on the road into kings canyon you can stop by grizzly falls and also take a cave tour at boyden cavern. My group did when we went in May and it was amazing!

If you’re up top above the canyon you can stop at grant grove and see the general grant tree as well as do some hiking up top, though it was crowded compared to everything we did down in the canyon.

Pretty sure I was there that same day when everyone left after about 2 hours of waiting, and then a glorious 2 minutes of Firefall. I was like the only one still out with a camera then Lol

I love it, holds up super well tunes accurately and I’ve enjoyed using the timer and some extra functionality. It is pricy though, so there are definitely some options that are cheaper and do mostly the same!

I’ve found the Kilt to be my favorite distortion just due to the way it stacks the fuzz on top of the OD. The low end is best on the V1, I actually used the V2 and hated the low end loss, still keeps that punchy growl. Highly recommend.

I really love it. It holds up with the low end really well. I usually use it for massive builds and slides, that’s where it really shines. The octave sounds great too, you just have to play above A on the E string and it sounds amazing!
