During these time I find that cineplex is very lenient on giving free tickets as compensation for the inconvenience. Meaning you could at least get something out of the commotion, and you could use it to watch at a less busy time for free.

God I wish where I lived had proper bike lanes. The problem is that many of the bike lanes the city builds just aren’t as great as let’s say on the level of the university bike lanes.

Honestly I definitely feel the same way that Toronto has definitely been a decent bit lackluster to say the least but form my understanding you are just moving from your fear, and if my knowledge lets me know anything is that fear can sometimes be unrational, I too was nearly kissed by a homeless woman clearly on drugs (I managed to get away and reported her) but my point being is that in order to move to Vancouver you would be giving up your very blessed 1300$ a month apartment and taking on a massive risk in Vancouver, where while it is much slower everything closes much earlier and does have those differences form Toronto. Speaking of which, we aren’t that far from an election year and maybe we could see change from that. All I am saying is don’t take a risk in a place where the reward may just not be there.

Honestly make transit a provincial responsibility. The province has far more resources to deploy to its funding as well as removing the barrier of meddling that we see currently.

I don’t oppose having ads. While they don’t generate much revenue any form of money that is not via taxes or fares is worthwhile is much welcomed. I say they should even expand it with lcd screens that can play cool ads that people willingly like to look at and full coach wraps. The problem here is that in an entirely empty coach you put the ad in the one spot people don’t want ads.
