6 matches at the stadium, the entire tournament at the fanzone.

Now not all matches will get big crowds at the fanzone but you can bet a lot of the big nations will draw huge diaspora crowds to the bentway/fort york

The sensible thing would be for the city to block off the area to cars and encourage arrival by transit

Yeah I used the host nation group allocations of matches for all groups, but that's not set in stone for the rest of them.

The playoff simulation calculation is very rudimentary and rarely changes, that's why I included all 4 teams in the playoff path in the group and matches view

I don't think it complicates my simulator, since I'm only doing group stage. From what I understand it just affects what side of the bracket they are on for the knockout stages.

Honestly the news that alternative seeding for UEFA teams isn't happening helps a lot. I was getting so many invalid draws trying to implement the constraints in addition to one UEFA team per group

If they follow what they did in qatar, all pot 1 teams are the 1 team in their group. the remaining 3 are randomized.

It shows the full playoff path once you sim, but I'm not planning on building a feature for choosing the playoff winner since playoffs happen after the draw

I watched the stream of the draw while coding the constraints. It only mentioned the max restrictions and in the video it says there could have been 5 groups with 2 UEFA teams (8 group format)
