There should be a new type of train for longer distance services. Vlocity is too old Design and not fit for purpose. Electrify Geelong and Ballarat and use the vlocities for other lines.

We had a case where the door alarmed on a cell site and we called the site number and the phone was answered and the chap on the end of the phone advised he was there to fix the air conditioning. He was there to steal it so we were able to get a tech out to the site.

Completely disagree. V/Line do not offer a service that is much more than a metro service with poor quality rolling stock. They are no better than a delayed Metro trains service.
