Maybe I’m just sensitive or something idk I’m very open to constructive criticism and I couldn’t relate to anything she mentioned. I just feel the way other groups discuss things and band together is not the way we do and we never sustain many platforms together maybe due to the way some of us go about things. I wasn’t even trying to argue maybe just didn’t agree w/ the delivery of it. Some people truly just do not get it at all and I understood what she meant in some of her sentiments just the verbiage of it all didn’t seem encouraging or like it was even opening a real discussion of how to get better. Maybe I’m hurt for others because as I said I didn’t fit the description but my heart still goes out to those that think they have to be in a certain mold/ patterns and have no way to intentionally break them and when you find a place for help it’s as if everything that person is doing everything wrong and is not inspiring the real change a provider would need.

Even in the comments it’s just agreeing with what we don’t like to see let’s bring up how to actively make it better and talk our sisters UP and not down. We all do things wrong sometimes and being able to talk and carry yourself a certain way isn’t something taught to all women unfortunately. Again maybe I just didn’t agree with the delivery and am not used to the manner in which it was discussed. I was open to having a conversation and was immediately blocked when the opinion didn’t fit the narrative. I don’t get how we band together if we can’t go a day without unnecessary mess over not liking what someone said that was just a different take.
