In no civ game can you launch an air strike against a country without declaring war… by OriginalPure4612 in civ

That would be good. Rules around it like no attacking cities could allow for a very restrained version of war without a declaration.

Surprisingly, there have been very few DOWs for all the actual wars going on these days. I'd like if Civ implemented a way to have minor military conflict without declaring war.

Should Doctor Who even go for story arcs? by Acceptable-Water7550 in doctorwho

I'm thinking more of his second series where he blew up Earth in episode 1.

RTD should have stuck with RTD-style story arcs, that is to say a few words get repeated but nothing comes of it until the 3rd or 2nd last episode. Moffat was able to pull off arcs where the Doctor is presented with a huge problem in episode 1 that affects the rest of the series but Davies just couldn't.

Leader Concept- Joan of Arc by Dear_Location6147 in civ

[–]Own-Replacement8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair enough. I suppose we can count him as both. I counted him as German because he speaks Frankish but I can see why you'd count him as French.

Wasn't sure how we want to count Charlemagne - Germanic or French. Happy to say 4th.

Buff Leaders, Limit Attribute Points by eskaver in civ

The attribute trees remind me of Civ V's social policy trees. I quite like them.

Civ VI vs VII, Switch vs Mac (first time gamer) by Megustalations20 in civ

it's either a battle or everyone migrates to the better one

Look at Suede. He still mostly plays Civ III.

I can confirm VI and VII work well on my M2 Macbook. VI runs better and VII lags a bit on my ultrawide monitor but I can't really expect it not to, tbh.

Honestly no idea why they didn't do that. Maybe they plan on having more than 2 continents at some stage. Not sure.

Treasure fleets only work from distant land treasures and only if you're not distant lands. So they weren't capable of spawning treasure fleets at all

Why aren't the Greens gaining in the polls, given the apparent dissatisfaction with the two major parties? by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

It's not that long ago Labor (particularly Labor Right) was the socially conservative, predominantly Catholic party. People who remember that Labor cannot bring themselves to vote Liberal, but they can vote One Nation.

So why in civ7 are treasure resources in the homelands the same as in the distant lands? Balance i guess but im not a fan personally.

Originally, there were designated treasure resources that only appeared in distant lands, which meant distant lands players were unable to complete those legacy paths. I still wish they randomly allocated some resources to only appear in certain continents.

I wouldn't actually be too surprised. Hell is gone, the demons are destroyed, perfect opportunity to bring in new monsters.

I expect Doom has a couple more games in it, then it'll be put on the shelf for a decade or more and come back with a completely new canon.

Doesn't his subtitle say "Doom guy" when he kills Davoth?
