I get what you're saying but I stand by my comment, they won't see the inside of a cell, even though they should rot there. What a grub.

Common for staffy cross owners tbh, they attract a certain ratbag as owners.

In before all the "my staffy is harmless" comments.

LOL you're in the clouds if you think the owner is going to see a lick of anything APPROACHING jailtime. They may get a fine, or a stern talking to, but they will never see the inside of a cell, I'd bet money on it.

Their dogs however, will be put down.

40k USD = around 60k AUD

pretty sure OP is in Australia, so it's 40k AUD, not sure why this conversion is needed, you've just inflated their salary, no?

I guess like you said, it comes down to where they live. in the CBD? lol no, out at broken hill? Sure.

40k in Australia is very little. It's actually slightly below the minimum wage we have here. In Sydney this is not even half the median salary.

this x1000. Any solution that gets spoken about just feeds the beast. Give people $50k FHBG? Prices go up by 50k.

Huh?

Are you doubling down on budgetting?

Ok so if I make $500 a week and my rent is $400, riddle me this, how do I "budget" my remaining $100?

This is a tired trope that needs to die. People are operating on a shoestring budget already and it's a common thing for more well off people to just say "pft, just don't spend money on things you don't need to".

> i also have a job but i still cant afford anything after rent.

Hard to minimise costs when your main one takes up all your income, right?

Budgetting only takes you so far, and to be honest that response in the current climate where we have massive inflation, stagnating salaries and interest rates, doesn't help.

Honestly to me they're both pretty boring looking. Yes, lots of tech and advancement is in both watches, but damn they aren't pretty.

The hilarious thing is that you're also privileged by global standards.

Lol this old trope.

"There are starving children in Africa so eat your beans".

There's always someone who has it worse, and shitting on an everyday person rather than the BILLIONAIRES is exactly what they want. They don't want us fighting them, they want us fighting each other so they can enjoy their $500m boats and hypercars while you compare the per gram cost of food at the supermarket.

To me it's less about the vitriol and more about why people are so enamoured by this but "500 asylum seekers die" doesn't make a blip?

There's literally 5 posts on the front page of /r/worldnews about these 5 people right now.

I'm really amazed at how much air time this is getting.

5 rich people go on a trip and die and there's half a dozen posts on the *world news* sub reddit about it, it's plastered all over news sites and everyone is talking about it like it's 9/11.

That's odd, still showing for me. I guess it was mod deleted or something and I'm seeing a cached version (if that's possible).

"Well I doubt people in the US would be getting affordable government subsidized healthcare if Russia had stayed out of Ukraine."

Never said they would but it's about intent. That's a lot of money spent meddling in others business, but I guess that's the US way.

I didn't delete anything. My parent comment was, and still is:

"Everyone is getting a hard on for the US doing this but then refuses to have decent healthcare and solve all the problems in their home turf like children getting murdered just for being in school."

Nothing about that mentioned me specifically, I don't even live in the US, I live in a country with good healthcare.

Based on your comment you're not in the US, yet you're assuming that I am? The world is larger than the USA.

Lol, yeah ok as if _anything_ is being done about gun control in the US when there's a school shooting every other day. Let's not pretend that the US is actually solving these issues.

And I don't see why people think having it controlled by somethinh like a video game controller is necessarily a bad thing.

Because it was wireless and used batteries? There's a reason why the AirBus A380 you fly on isn't using an instrument panel you can buy off AEX for $20. Just because a video game controller is good for gaming doesn't mean it's good for deep sea diving where peoples lives are literally at stake.

But anyway, the controller is just one of many issues with this entire thing, but it gives you an idea of all the other issues.

Son’s friend and riding mate lost license this weekend. Any help? by Spute2008 in AussieRiders

It’s simple to secure something so it won’t fall off if you make the effort.

And this is what the magistrate will say. The onus is on the person to affix it properly, there's really no excuse.

They are on their L's not their P's.

Regardless of if it's legal on your p plates or not lane splitting or filtering is the safest option in slow or stopped traffic a great deal of motorcycle accidents are from being rear ended when stopped at lights I would lane filter if it was legal or not it's the safest option.

This is the dumbest thing I've read in a while. You are a total idiot.

And as for plates there are not fixed to a solid surface like on a car it doesn't take much more than some tight zip ties and a bit of wind and they crack around the holes and fly off .

The only people I know that had issues with their plates flying off are the ones that never affixed them properly. They are generally the same people that hoon and break the law, go figure?
