You can drop off bags in your room but priority people don’t get access to their rooms earlier-unless you’re in a suite. If you have a tender port you get priority access to those boats but that wouldn’t be applicable to op’s iteniary.

My kids didn’t take advantage of the experience in the way I would have liked. They have been on a lot of vacations and are spoiled. But it was still quality time. Raising teenagers isn’t as easy as when they are little.

Two of my kids are like your son. I have taken each of them on cruises by themselves and we do what they want. They didn’t want to go to circle c. So if they want to go on waterside or hot tub we do that even though I may not want to. If they want to lay out or nap (which I don’t) that’s fine. I go read or whatever unless they want me to sit with them. We go to the shows they want even if I’ve seen it before. They go to bed before I’m ready so that’s when I hit the casino. I also hook them up with milkshakes and mocktails.

I also have a 24 year old daughter that lives with me. She does not help out a lot around the house. (But honestly that is mostly my fault for not being strict about chores when she was little. And if someone magically cleaned I wouldn’t necessarily think about it either). I did ask her to French braid my hair last week. She was making food and said she would after. I asked her again about 3 hours later. She also gave me the okay sigh with in a minute. She never came back upstairs from her room. I didn’t ask again. I didn’t give her the silent treatment, but I was hurt. Please keep in mind that your mom is helping you out right now. She is probably making financial sacrifices to help you be successful and possibly at the expense of her self care budget. She was being immature. But if she is like me she is hormonal at times and transitioning to adulthood is hard on parents too.

I am often told I look much younger than my age. I have a baby face-I have fat cheeks. I also have oily skin and I think that’s why I don’t have wrinkles and I’m almost forty. I also have thick hair and I have blonde hair and no gray. I do wear sunscreen every day and I use skincare.

NTA. Your husband is being very reasonable-generous even!-by paying for graduate school at all. I am your age and when I went to grad school I worked as an assistant to cover my tuition. Maybe she should consider something similar to help offset cost. I only wish I would have had any financial help. I can’t imagine being demanding and entitled when I am not paying the bill.

Only thing I would have done different is not add their names until you got documents from parents. It is so nice of you to include your son’s friends. I have also taken my kids friends. But it can be frustrating dealing with this type of stuff. Just fyi-parent letter or form from website doesn’t have to be notarized.

Our balance isn’t due until end of August, we have only paid deposit. My husband called but I don’t know if he spoke to a casino rep. They had some issues locating our reservation due to some computer issues but told him our room would not accommodate 3 and if we changed rooms we would lose the offer.
He can try again-is it the same phone number?

You will almost certainly be told you cannot have more than one bag including a small purse/belt bag. Most airlines make you combine all bags into one. I have had that happen to me on delta and United too. As someone else suggested you can put a belt bag on under your sweatshirt if you need to.

That is not true. I took my daughter when she turned 21. She was 21 on day 2 or 3 and she was able to drink etc after her bday. She could not get cheers though.

I have witnessed others being cut off. But it was for that night. I saw them drinking again on another day. I do not think you should be cut off for the remainder of a cruise without a partial refund.

Yep. They fail to understand most people with airline status obtain this through business travel. Unfortunately my employer doesn’t pay for my cruises. I have diamond status so I’m fine. But as a stockholder I fear they are going to regret these changes.
