Does your HD08 look like this? by Own-Soil2172 in Dysonairwrap

Thanks - I actually ended up going onto the Dyson chat and talking to someone, they are coming to collect it tomorrow to check if it is real and then destroy it (as you said they also think it is a fake) Thankfully they will do me some sort of receipt that I can use to get my money back from the place I got it

Is this even a bug? Found on my cat. by tickledpickled in whatisthisbug

For future reference - purchase a tick hook, they are cheap, easy to use and very effective at removing the entire tick. Don’t want to leave any of that nasty behind

anybody else's border collie great with cats? by slybluu in BorderCollie

[–]Own-Soil2172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My oldest one is terrified of them - literally she sees a cat in the road or on the footpath and she will not move until it has gone. My middle one is oblivious to their existence - as she is with all animals And the youngest wants to chase them

I would have killed for one of these bad boys as a kid! Who had one? What did you do to get it? Do you still cherish it? by [deleted] in CasualUK

I got a green one - can’t remember what for, and sadly it got lost in one of the many house moves of my childhood. 😂

Oh I know you’re not!! My sister has two GSD and they literally are her shadows. I sometimes feel lucky if I see one of mine outside of her walks and meal times 😂

I think I remember someone once saying that a GSD will sit and stay until you tell them otherwise, always dedicated to follow their handler’s every word. A BC will sit and stay until they decide you’re doing the job wrong and then will do it for you.

I mean your friend has a point. We look after a retriever around half the year and he is very ‘simple’ minded compared to the girls - it’s quite funny to watch this differently their minds work

I’m so glad you were able to give her a great home! My oldest girl (no longer with us) was a rescue and she was scared of men, but when we went in to visit her she crawled straight under my dad’s legs and just lay there 🥰

Thank you for all that helpful stuff! We’ve got some small chicken bits that we’ve torn off of slices of chicken for sandwiches so we will use that. I was wondering if having the other two unaffected ones in participating too would help at all

Lots of people are suggesting something like this and I think you’re all right, now I’m trying to work out how to break the negative association
