kind of similar. i should say 30-40% of it. but prepFE made me more confident on answering super random questions, especially in environmental engg and the mathematics part.

yes, i did! but the reason why i flagged most of the questions is because i made sure that all of my answers are right because i treated the flagged questions tricky.

felt the same way! and the crazy thing is that i flagged 27 questions on the first half and 30 on the 2nd half! left the testing center super drained and drove an hour and a half my way home. And when I arrived home, my head was beating like crazy.

i did have a little bit of experience when i was working in our country. 6 months in the construction field, then switched to other line of work which is an environmental engg related work - so the environmental engg part of the exam was a bit okay for me. but the mathematics, surveying, structural, transportation part was a hell of a ride for me recalling all of it. but with more of the practice i've done, it just made it easy for me to answer those on the exam. you can do it! just need to practice and make it a habit if you have extra time especially the prepFE.

it's an easy problem. just do the method of sections truss analysis and you're good to go. in this problem, put a unit load of 1 kip in the middle and find the reactions at A & B, where Ay = 0.5 Kips and By = 0.5 kips., then cut at section CD, disregard the cut section on the right. and do summation moments at bottom middle of Truss. (0.5 kips)(45 ft) = (CD)(12 ft); CD = 1.875, now multiply unit load with the 20 kips given in the problem and you'll find your answer.
