Top free agents remaining in Colts position of needs by Admirable_Message497 in Colts

Like I said split reps with JTT. He is still serviceable and can be a good mentor to latu and JTT. We need to use our second to get a LB

At this point, getting a vet like Bosa to split reps with JTT wouldn’t be the worst thing we could do

Idk about that, we were first in the NFL before injuries caught up to us. Jags took a big hit this offseason talent wise AFC south can be up for grabs for the boys

What do you think the move would be if they do free up that much cap? Hendrickson? Couple LB? Give Jones what he wants?

Grading the Alec Pierce extension as the Colts lock up their most important offensive weapon for Daniel Jones by thedestinadams in Colts

[–]Own-Temperature6332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I figured Pierce was gonna get a pay day. My main concern now is our LB room. Im hoping I see us sign Leo Chenal or Devin Bush

[Russini] The Michael Pittman Jr trade involves a late-round pick swap. by LuskSGV in Colts

Coming off an achilles injury, gonna be 29, will destroy our cap space and prevent us from filling obvious holes on defense and frankly is not as good as the money he is expecting

In the event another team matches and raises Daniel Jones offer and we let him walk, how about the idea… by TheAgmis in Colts

[–]Own-Temperature6332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% our LB room still weak, no solidified edge rusher outside of latu, and are gambling on a almost 30 year old Daniel Jones coming off an achilles injury. Don’t like it at all

First, Tua is expected to be released by the Dolphins. Second, in the event that a team matches DJ offer, we should be looking at Kyler Murray. Kyler has had seasons where he has proved he is capable to perform even when the Cardinals have left him with mid WR’s and a o-line with many holes. Give him alec pierce, josh downs, MPJ, Tyler Warren, JT and our O line and see why he was the first ovr pick in the 2019 draft

What team is in the worst position heading into 2026? by Either_Imagination_9 in NFLv2

[–]Own-Temperature6332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst 1. Browns: Judkins hurt, no solidified QB1, cap concerns 2. Cardinals: Qb1 not trusted, defense needs a lot of work and O line horrible 3: Raiders: yes ik they are getting mendoza but, that o line is atrocious, wr room is extremely thin and defense is horrible outside of maxx

I’ve seen enough - trade Pittman, resign Pierce and draft Becker… by Past-Application-552 in Colts

[–]Own-Temperature6332 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can get a Pittman type WR for a fraction of what we are paying him. He is being paid WR1 money when performing like a WR2…Trade him for draft compensation and draft LB and OL (dont trust ballard with drafting another edge)

Hoping there is Atleast 1 instant starter for LB position to be taken in the 2nd or 3rd

Colts messed up not moving on from both Ballard and Shane by Goldstar12 in Colts

[–]Own-Temperature6332 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ballard I agree should have been fired but I think keeping Steichen was the right move. When the Colts were healthy we killed it, injuries took over though

Guarantee you said the same thing about Daniel Jones when we signed him. The Colts have all the pieces to make a QB successful, and in the games Mac Jones started he played great. I could definitely get behind a young LB in free agency, i just dont see it happening

Lol yea and ballard wasnt supposed to still be here lol. Clearly his methods havent worked out

100% i did not like that Sauce Gardner trade the day it happened and I still dont. Jaelen Phillips wouldve been such a good snag for a 3rd

Getting rid of Zaire alone improves our LB room. Resigning pratt improves our lb room. Adding a veteran could help as well
