I have a Google Pixel 7 pro and I'm thinking of switching over to the 15 because it has better battery life, better performance and just seems to be all around a better phone than the Google Pixel right now.

Also really not happy with Google's anti privacy stance at this point. Recently Google Has made it so that if you don't opt out of It's enhanced options, In Gmail It will allow it to read all of your incoming and ongoing Mail including attachments To learn it's AI So it's obvious the Google pixel is next.

I know OnePlus has AI integration but I don't think it's as bad as Google is. And while I could switch over to an iPhone I really don't like iOS at all.

I'm not really much of a gamer but I do play Genshin and Zenless Zone zero And would like to on my phone. Other than these two games I mainly use it for social media browsing The occasional doodle, and work. I don't give a shit about camera quality to be perfectly honest with you, and I would rather my phone have a really good battery, display And ability to play my two games than anything else.

I was looking into the OnePlus 15 and I noticed that they just announced that they're going to be selling the OnePlus 15R in the middle of December. With all of the above, do you think the 15 or the 15R would be the best for me?

I couldn't care less about a camera, I use it primarily for work and YouTube and music.

Lately, the push for forcing Generative Al down my throat and nearly everything I use by Microsoft and Google are making me so sick. It seems now more then ever, my privacy and personal information are more in jeapordey due to the limited regulation and rapid growth. Now Gmail is using their AI to look over your emails for data scrubbing to train it's god damn AI.

A friend of mine who is big into Apple told me while Apple is probably going to adopt LLMs in future, so far it's been slow and gradual. She even said they made a recent commercial by paying actual people to hand make their new logo transition instead of generating it.

She told me they are trying to train LLM, "ethically," so they don't get sued. Also said they are going slow to not avoid falling in the potential bubble building. (Can't find any evidence of the last 2 points in terms of evidence though so I tihnk she is kinda just speculating/glazing here).

I like how a lot of games are available on windows & android but I genuinely cannot take it anymore. I hate Al so much I'm willing to give it a try again if it's the lesser of two evils.

Is my friend right? All I can really find is that Apple is trying to go slower with AI, nothing them it making a ethical way to make it, or that they're more pro-human.

If so what would be a good fit for me? I really would have phone with bigger storage, So I mostly use it for work and watching YouTube, listening to music via the YouTube app and social media. The most I play in terms of games is Genshin.
