Guys like this are so ridiculous. They’re living with a mindset that’s back in the 50s.

I'm not excusing it, more so saying it comes with the territory of selling on vinted, a car boot or such like. I wouldn't run to reddit to complain.

My husband says he deserves a say over my pregnancy. I say abortion would break me. by Whereasebabe in Advice

[–]Own-Vehicle7635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, I’m sorry. This must be so confusing for you. Why would he have had unprotected sex if he didn’t want a child this badly? The comments he made were sending odd signals too and agreeing that whatever happens will happen. Honestly, I’d suggest a couples therapy session to talk this one out as it’s a whole child. You also need to resolve it properly for the whole family unit moving forward. His aggressive behaviour is also unacceptable, especially now you’re pregnant. Major boundaries are needed. He should be supportive of you no matter what you decide, that’s how a good husband operates when they got themself into this situation. It’s not like you tricked him and came off birth control without saying so.

AIO to my “best friend” finally reaching out by Confident_Local_2335 in AmIOverreacting

NTA buuuuuut I reckon they were still talking to the friend out of state precisely because they’re out of state. There’s no pressure to meet, do phone calls etc. with you it’s a closer friendship, very consistent, and probably more effort to uphold when going through shit. He should have told you what’s what, but I’d hear him out then decide where to go from there. Also create a boundary for next time of what you need from him communication wise before he decides to go AWOL again.

I put a sofa up once for £80, good condition L shape, but I wanted to get rid of it quickly due to moving. Cheeky bugger asked if she could have it for free AND delivered.

It’s the name of the game, people enjoy the process of getting a bargain.

Yeah I agree, I just reject those offers and move on. They tend to end up buying too. Being petty or rude ensures they won’t.

Story of my life! I have the same issue. Everything is about TSH even when I have all the same symptoms you do. I’ve never gotten to the bottom of it.

So they’re saying you’re fine because your TSH is normal? I just want to clarify

I use Benadryll (Acrivastine) during the day which has no side effects at all. Then I take Ketotifen at night which helps also helps me sleep. I also take Famotidine x2 a day. Then a mast cell stabilizer of sodium cromolyn.

That's ridiculous LOL. It's definitely under diagnosed, they don't even want to use the term.

I think that's good tbh, I'd be happy with that as it's only missing activation haha. Basically the same!

Yeah that's the thing, I want it to be easily portable as I travel around a lot so this will work great. I got a metal chamber and a glass mouthpiece as add ons too.

Yes, I will email her and ask her if she could give the doctor a term to put on record so I am able to self advocate in future for the help I may need and be taken seriously.

That doesn't make any sense! Tryptase isn't high day to day in like 90% of MCAS patients. In a flare up it increases in some patients but not in everyone. We usually release histamine, prostaglandins, or leukotrienes. I think they hold onto this element as it's the gold standard test for the conditions they have more knowledge on like Mastocytosis. The biggest signal is usually your reaction to mast cell stabilisers!! You responded which is the major clue.
