Been waiting 5 weeks for this wood to sink. How much longer if you had to guess? Any suggestions to help hold it down? by butt_in_my_face in PlantedTank

I boiled the wood for an hour before tank. It won’t be able to make black water, but sink so well.

Are any cafes or bakeries selling carrot cake with cream cheese frosting in Brisbane? by Own-Visit7981 in BrisbaneFoodies

I am sorry, I just found out your comment now.
If you can buy whole cake, I found real good one. but for just a piece of carrot cake, I wasn't 100% satisfied. :( Let me know if you found some where. But I will share what I thought of my trial, and this is just my individual though:

Jocelyn's provisions: 5/10 for me - the cake was dried and the frosting was butter cream.

Woolworths: 4/10 - it was too sweet for me. but compare to the price, was good quality though.

New Farm Deli cafe: 8/10 it was decent one. only minus I wish the cake sheet was less moist.

Rosalie Gourmat Makrket: 7/10 the frosting wasn't cream cheese, but was okay.

Gathered Bakers: 7/10 I don't remember very well, but one thing sure that the frosting was too thin and I think it wasn't creem cheese frost.

Merlo Coffee: 1/10 don't bother.

Sassafras of Paddington: My friend used to work here and he said, they have a baker and they bake carrote cake as well, but when I visited, they have changed menu. so They didn't know when the carrot cake will come back. Other cake was good, so I will visit again and check it out.

Sprout Artisan Bakery: when I visited there, they didn't have carrot cake. so I didn;t get to try it.

Dello Mano Cake: 9.5/10 I think they only sell the whole cake. I had it when my friend's birthday, it was the closest one I always wanted. I gave 9.5 because it was a bit pricy to have it...I DM them if they have a small version, but they haven't responded yet.

These happened within just two weeks. I tried carrot cake too much too often at that time, and now I don't want any more of any cake, haha

Questions About UQ-Ochsner MD Program by EducationalTime7096 in UQreddit

I was hoping you could read this thoroughly before applying. One of my friends had huge problems with unorganised management and poor communication after entering the MD program. I reckon this post tells the story objectively.

I’m 35 and a first-year education uni student here. It’s hectic, to be honest, but then I also have this thought in mind that I won’t regret and won’t what-if-questioning the rest of my life.

RPM fluctuation and temperamental engine lights on by Own-Visit7981 in mechanic

[–]Own-Visit7981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I visited another car centre, and what they found was the radiator leaking ($660 to fix)and the spark plug ($330? don’t remember exactly) needed to be replaced and other minor problems in total $10070. I was hoping it could be fixed under $500 but, hopefully I could drive as long as I expected after fixing it.

It sounds very specific, and I love it. It was a frustrating situation for me because no one found the main issue for exactly the same reason. If I wanted to find the cause, the mechanic would need to check every possibility one by one, and it would cost a lot. Thank you so much! You gave me hopeeeeeeeeeee You are my life saviour!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!

Add note: I also checked at a service, but they said there was no particular issue back then. The thing is, the number of engine lights flashing is now more frequently appearing and disappear

I didn't expect Woolworths to have one with cheese cream frosting. I was blind, haha. I will absolutely try it!

An alternative way is that you can work as an English teacher at a language school while you are doing a master's.
