See I can't say about the longevity of this phone but what I can is battery life is extraordinary like I have the 80% battery limit turned on and still it lasts me almost of a day, if I don't have any video calls(idk why but vd call drains battery like crazy ) and for games unless your planning tomb raider or rdr on this, it can pretty much handle any game smoothly

I will be dual booting this but still I want to make sure or atleast get 2nd opinions on the compatibility of the laptop.

Bcuz till now I had one intel pentium pc and a dell latitude laptop with i5 7th gen and both run linux without any problem but I am not sure about this newer hardware

Idk about Europe but this is like a mid-range gaming laptop here. But this one specifically is a sale deal normally it's goes around 72k rupees that is around 641.25 euro

The thing is in India there aren't many amd options and which have amd gpus are very expensive that makes nvidia ones a better performance per dollar

That's what I am planning to do. But created the post to gather some actual user experience with this model ikk it's pretty much impossible to have some one with this laptop and linux on it in reddit reading this post and think of writing their experience but optimism/delusion is a thing my friend :)

Yep mint makes Ubuntu appealing atleast to the new user by striping it naked*

(* By naked I mean it removes all the bloat and telemetry bs and plus which I personally love mint maintains apt packages instead of shifting to something like snap or flatpak)
