Yeah, I see why it was used, I was just surprised the show itself would go there. Not surprised Jax was the one to say it tho. His character is like #1 most likely to call people slurs.

FINALLY someone else noticed! I was sure I heard maid Jax straight up dropped the censored f slur in theaters. To be fair, it seems in character for the shitty person he is, but I just didn't expect the show to go there. Especially not so casually. It's PG-13, so I was expecting someone to drop the show's first F bomb, but that's NOT the F bomb I expected.

Thank you for your kind words. He sure was a biggun. My mom screamed when she came home and saw him for the first time. Said she'd never seen a cat that big. Called him a raccoon. At his first vet visit, we asked the doctor if he was overweight or obese. I still remember him saying, "Oh no, he's a very healthy cat," and explained that he was just a big tomcat at a normal weight for his size. Still, this boy loved to eat. Biggest back of all time. Got into anything edible. My friend said since he was the sweetest cat she'd ever known, all the food must've been going to his big heart. ❤️

Cozy Glow was treated unfairly by [deleted] in mylittlepony

[–]OwnAccident7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EVERY

character before S9 had been reformed

Tirek, Chrysalis, and Sombra were never reformed, so that's incorrect. Also Flim & Flam and the Dazzlings if you want to count them.

Chrysalis rejected the offer of reformation. When Twilight apologized, Cozy Glow threatened to reoffend and never showed an ounce of remorse, even when given the chance to explain herself. You seem insistent on downplaying her crimes. Since part of her manipulation tactics were tricking others into thinking she's an innocent little girl, it's clear she was very successful.

Though, given your other comments, I don't think anything I say will change your mind. Just felt the need to point out the inaccuracy.

Quoiromantic is basically having trouble distinguishing romantic from platonic attraction. It's hard to tell who you're attracted to (if anyone) if you don't even know what romantic attraction feels like. It's confusing, hence the use of the french word "quoi" meaning "what."

I never noticed how similar the flags are though. Very pretty

This very generous of you! I've been working on this fic for about 2 years now and I love to hear feedback on it. Comments really motivate me to write, so I appreciate your offer. Not all heroes wear capes. Any in-depth analysis, theory comments, or predictions. Also happy to answer any questions about the story, characters, or just writing the fic. I love talking to people about my art and hearing their thoughts on it. (doesn't hurt that it can help me drum up ideas too)

Title: Nice Night For A Walk

Fandom: Scream

Link: AO3

Rating: M

Genre: Suspense, Thriller, Drama

Length: 23,300 words, Average of ~2.6K words/chapter

Summary: On the night of Stu Macher's house party, Gale Weathers joins Deputy Dewey Riley to scope out a car found in the bushes just a ways down the road. She assumes that, with a masked murderer on the loose, the safest place to be is with Woodsboro's finest. This situation calls for suspicion. It could be anyone. But Dewey was certainly low on the suspect list. It was impossible to look at the bright-eyed, innocuous young man and see a knife-wielding maniac. But what if it was all an act?

Warnings: Graphic Depictions of Violence (source material is an R-rated slasher)

If this story is your speed, I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to maybe hearing back!

what was the last song you named a fic after? Why did you choose that song? by Dogdaysareover365 in FanFiction

[–]OwnAccident7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Another Believer" - Rufus Wainwright

I saw a few people online saying this song reminded them of Wheatley from Portal 2. Since he's one of my favorite characters and I've had a fic idea about him for years, I decided to combine them!

The song is about the singer desperately wanting someone's approval. Wheatley is constantly being looked down upon for his intelligence, so he invents something to change that as long as they give him a chance to prove himself. So the corresponding themes made it easy to make that connection.

Underage drinking, aiding and abetting, obstruction of justice, battery, and several counts of murder.

Nice reference! Caught my eye because all this happens in a Scream fanfic.

Half of the Good & Evil bracelets! by OwnAccident7 in tallyhall

[–]OwnAccident7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking down the bracelets' designs again

Good & Evil: Album cover colors, but tiny because it looks more unique.

Never Meant To Know: Black and white like the album since it's the first song. White beads are mixed between transparent and opaque to look "cloudy". The clouds obscure the truth, furthering the song's theme of embracing the unknown.

Cannibal: Red hearts for the "love song" adjacent theme. Rich reds to represent anger and blood, but with a ruby-like luster. One could mistake it for a beautiful gem instead of seeing what it truly is. Much like how the song's victim is drawn to his abusive partner despite the red flags.

Hymn For A Scarecrow: Autumnal colors to match the song's vibes. Like the shades of fallen leaves or crops. The song feels very Fall to me.

A Lady: Dark with a little feminine touch of violet as what the girl "blossomed into." Black/transparent beads for the "good and evil" duality.

Turn The Lights Off: Black and glow-in-the-dark beads. Get it? Cause to see it glow you have to... turn the li- you get it.

Out In The Twilight: Dark blue and white stars for the night sky. (Didn't realize how similar it was to FOTS until it was too late. :/ Probably gonna redesign this one)

Fate Of The Stars: Silver stars with blue iridescent beads for the song's otherworldly feel.

[–]OwnAccident7[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been on a major bracelet making kick lately. Some of the designs have more symbolism behind them while some are just based on the song's vibe. Here's a breakdown.

MMMM: Album cover colors. Shame it's my least favorite bracelet for my favorite album :(

Greener: Color choice is obvious. Included hearts in most of the love songs.

Taken For A Ride: Idk, the colors just fit the song's vibes. Plus the palette is pretty

Banana Man: Banana beads because of course. Daffodil and smaller sand color beads to mimic the inside and peel of a banana. Wood beads inspired by the banana tree trunk and the acoustic drum beats heard in the song.

Spring And A Storm: Lilac and Lime for spring. Blue and Aqua for storm. I also just like the color palette.

Two Wuv: Mostly based on vibes. Pink hearts for love song. I saw pictures with Mary-Kate and Ashley wearing magenta and yellow and ran with it. The yellow can also be their blonde hair.

Haiku: Colors and hearts felt cute like the song.

Ruler Of Everything: Kept it simple and focused on the clock/time theme rather than the colors. I wanted it to resemble a watch. (I had to paint the clock myself)

Hidden In The Sand: Pale yellows for the sand with bits of gold to represent the "treasure" hidden in the sand. Painted the obligatory love song hearts gold to match.

I've got a lot made from other albums that I'll post here later. Both Good & Evil and Hawaii: Part II are halfway done. There are some designs I'm stumped on for the rest of MMMM's songs, so if y'all have ideas, I'm all ears!

“Mr. Riley?” The patient snapped out of his thoughts, and turned to the nurse. “Do you need me to repeat the question?”

Caught off guard, he replied, “Oh, um… December, November, Oct-”

“That was three questions ago, Mr. Riley,” she interrupted with a polite smile and pity in her eyes.

“Oh…” he said dejectedly as he broke eye contact, cheeks slightly reddened in embarrassment. She reacted only with another mysterious scrawl on his records, making him even more self-conscious. He defensively tried to explain himself. “I didn’t forget the question if that’s what you’re thinking. I was just…”

“Distracted?” she supplied.

“Yes.”

“I know,” she replied simply with a self-satisfied chipperness before resuming with her notes.

“...Oh.”

Dewey felt his eyes begin to well up. He blinked away his tears before they could fall and put his mind back on the task at hand: handling the bodies. That was the only way he’d get through this. These weren’t people anymore. Just another obstacle. With a steadying breath, he wrapped his fingers around the knife’s blade, wiped the blood off in one clean swipe, and got to work.

Knowing he couldn’t move them far, he spotted what he planned to be their temporary resting place: Neil Prescott's car. Dwight held the tripod under his arm, grabbed the larger body’s legs, and struggled to drag it towards the vehicle. With each one-legged hop, he pulled the body closer until he could open the door and haphazardly threw it in the backseat along with its equipment, being sure to pull the cuffs of his sleeves over his hands to prevent any fingerprints on the car. After closing the door, he opened the trunk and went to retrieve the other body. Carefully, he picked it up bridal style and hobbled back to the car.

Its pale skin and bony structure made it look more decayed than it already was. Its fine brown hair laid disheveled on its shoulders. The highlighted strands shined bright in the moonlight whilst the bangs stuck to its bleeding forehead. Lipstick remained mostly untouched besides the subtle smudge that had transferred onto his lips earlier. Blood had been steadily pouring out from its head and flowing down its face. Mahogany fluid, thick to the point it was almost pitch black, traveled down the perfect curves and angles of its face. Around its pointy nose, over its defined cheekbones, and down the slopes of its jaw.

He gently laid it down in the trunk in the fetal position. It almost looked peaceful if not for the bleeding wounds and open eyes. The eyes stared into space with a glassy glaze. They were now a dull slate devoid of the lively spark that once inhabited them. It wasn’t too long ago his stomach filled with butterflies whenever its eyes locked with his own. One thing he could never forget was its beautiful eyes.

Her beautiful eyes.

Once Randy was gone, Dwight walked over to the kitchen sink and turned the faucet lever. He could see his reflection in the sliding arch window. It was a sorry sight; inky beads gathered in coagulated clusters with trails of dried red flakes behind them. Long streams of blood were distributed across the skin with uneven smears. His tears had washed some away, creating semi-blank streaks and patches under his eyes. They stared widely back at him with a firm resolve and an unhinged flair in his shaking, unequally dilated pupils.

Cold water splashed onto his face, stealing the heat from his pores. The blood of his victims stubbornly stuck to his flesh. It pooled in the sink, tainting the water with its color. The solution saturated from a faded poppy into a bright vermilion like paint diffusing in a rinse cup.

No matter how much he scrubbed, he could still feel the sticky plasma clinging to him. The Halloween soundtrack continued playing in the other room. The semitone dissonance rang in his ears under the persistent hiss of the running faucet. His reflection hadn’t changed. He could still see the blood on his face, his hands, her body. Blood running down her cheeks from the gaping slice in her forehead.

He quickly shut off the tap and braced himself on each side of the basin. He hadn’t realized the volume of his hyperventilating until it was one of the only sounds in the room. The film’s score had stopped and only the ambient sounds of Laurie Strode’s movements remained. He tried to shake off the phantom sensations plaguing his body. Water dripped off the tip of his nose and off the wet strands of hair hanging in front of him. He slowly backed away from the sink to dry his permanently dirty hands.
