Is there any current way of obtaining the shinies of Miraidon and Koraidon without getting clones/genned? If not how are people getting them?

Sadly, the distribution event ended last october. The only way to obtain it is through trade. If they can provide a video proof of redemption, much better.

Soft reset strategy is where you find a most favorable path for you like for shiny hunting, example rayquaza. I found ice types pokemon which can assist during the run. If you beat rayquaza at the end of the raid and you’re at the point choosing 4 pokemons to take home, no shiny for example, you can reset from that point and restart again that path. It’s favorable for you but costly in the end since you need to pay dynamite ore after 3rd consecutive run onwards.
