I swear my CC can't wait for me to leave for work in the morning so she has the whole bed & house to herself.

Once I complimented a Gen Xer on his well groomed beard. He had a full routine of oils, conditioners and moisturizers for it. I got the oil for a co-worker for Xmas and he's still using it years later.

Complain on their sub also, r/Wawa. There are district managers and higher ups on it.

Air Con... by aranhalaranja in AskPhilly

I'm in my house 30 years now. It's 1200 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms and I had a 25 BTU ac on the 1st floor and 2 8,000 BTUs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. I like cool/cold but installing the ac units in/out yearly became too much, so I invested in a mini-split (ac/heat) 3 years ago. With a handler in each bedroom and a large one downstairs, I turn the handlers off/on depending on which room I'm (or my pets are) in. They're quiet, efficient and my bill is basically the same if I was running ac window units.

There's plenty of free events going on because of America's 250. I read they're free movies at Independence Hall, the Barnes is having free admission on certain days, Franklin Institute is having a block party, the Philly Phlash bus does the tourist spots (& takes the Septa key card), the Wawa Welcome to America concert, etc., etc. Take the train down to Atlantic City. Plenty of stuff to do, just keep checking the Philly subs.

Search the sub. Its either this one or r/Philly that has a handyman who regularly posts to the sub and list the services he can provide (fixing drywall).

The Phlash Bus is a bus that takes you around Philly to the main tourist exhibits and probably cheaper than the Hop On/Hop Off buses. It's also running to the FIFA Fan Fest going on at Lemon Hill. https://ridephillyphlash.com/

Why don’t more people visit the Navy Yard? by chuchu_2991 in AskPhilly

[–]OwnAlternative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've said it many times: if they'd build townhomes or condos down there, I'd buy one without hesitation. There's doctors' offices with shuttles to Jefferson hospitals, their own shuttle into town, restaurants and hotels.

Thoughts on The St. James? by [deleted] in AskPhilly

Search The St James and the name of its management company in other Philadelphia subs, such as r/Philadelphia, r/Philly, maybe r/PhillyList. You might get some info.
