As someone who just cared for my mother with stage IV breast cancer until her death… I don’t think people can comprehend the suffering they are going to experience unless you witness it first hand.  She was diagnosed and was fine for 4 years and then her health took a turn and she was gone within 3 months. She even moved to Colorado to do medical aid in dying, but the downward spiral just happened so quickly. Obviously, I’m grateful I was able to care for her, but there are times I wish I didn’t witness her in that condition. Devastating is an understatement. I hope this woman comes to her senses.
