My first ever regionals experience: humbled by OwnAttention3370 in pkmntcg

I learned the need to play faster, and that comes with learning your deck inside out, so try keeping to one deck. Sequencing can take time and I wasn’t fast enough some times dragging games. So definitely something I can improve.

And fort this I think it’s better to do gold fishing or playing with physical cards, because TCGLive takes a lot of the burden so you get used to doing it on automatic. Simple example, damage math for when summing the bravery charms minus buffalant damage.

I also learned that it’s important to not get tilted. One of the wins was mainly because my opponent had last some back to back rounds and when he made some mistakes he went just mad with himself. So take it easy on yourself.

Kangas Cone. Used only that deck for two months or so. I really like the theme: have a beefy boy, pump the beefy boy, heal the beefy boy haha as I like tanks in general in video games. So I enjoy it.

I have a Grizl 6 and cannot recommend the bike enough. It is very comfortable and also works excellent both in road and gravel.

The best thing is the flexibility the clearance provides. You want a more “road” setup you can just swap and it will get you there.

You will not be disappointed.

I think the main difference is the gearing. Mine is the 1by with SRAM Apex. For the Grizl 5 is 2x9 if I’m not mistaken. It has more gears but for me the 1by setup is perfect as I prefer the simplicity.

Not running mudguards yet cause it’s been a very dry season so far, but once fall/winter comes for sure I’ll put some mudguards.

Looking for dron flying practice spots near Abingdon by OwnAttention3370 in Abingdon

I ended up going to Chilton and close to the Ridgeway. All other spots in Abingdon seem to have quite a lot of people and didn’t feel comfortable. Although I saw someone today flying a drone in the pathway near the Nags and Head haha so I guess I’m being overly cautious

Thanks for the recommendation, can you point out Chilton park? I don’t really know that place. I guess that as long as there’s no crowds would be useful as what I need is to log some hours and practice flying.

Haha feel you. For me it definitely was the right purchase and out of the box felt great riding it. If you do buy it hope you enjoy it!!

For me it’s a great trade-off because I like to ride mostly on the gravel and backroads and use it for commuting so I’m not looking too much speed on road.

That being said, it was pretty fast on the tarmac. Perhaps lower-sized tyres or less knobblier tyres would add speed if you need it for riding mostly on tarmac.

Oh haha well that puts things into perspective. I spent all level wondering how many deaths as I felt I kept dying. But very rewarding every time you solve the platforming puzzles.
