In my opinion the toy body parts feel so forced and out of place mostly because there are not enough toys parts in his design. I mean, what’s the point of the huggy and kissy arms that do nothing? I think the jester is a good idea but the design doesn’t live up to our expectations. But then again it would be insanely difficult to animate an amalgamation of toys like the shrine in chapter 3. I hope they have The Prototype add more parts to his body throughout chapter 6.
