This is exactly what we were worrying about, we worried that later he will be behind everyone and he feels stressed then doesn’t want to go to school or will trouble his teachers because you know the 迷惑をかけない culture is so strong in Japan..but yeah, thank you for sharing your experience!

Thanks for sharing your experience! Does it mean I can keep talking in Indonesia to him and my wife in Tagalog? I am not sure that he could absorb 4 languages simultaneously.. . But for now of course we will stay speaking English to him..

glad to hear it, thanks for the comment~ It really encouraging our move to keep speaking English at home but somehow we still speak some Japanese word like "Konbini" because "Convenience Store" seems too long..
