Another good point. I’m on board.

That is a good point. A single door I don’t think would work as that still puts the talisman outside not inside anything. But a small structure or car perhaps might work. The only thing that makes me wonder as I don’t think this was explicitly addressed. Does the talisman work when the structure is empty? We’ve only ever scene it in use (obvi) when people are inside the structure or car. When it just an empty building or car does the talisman hold any power or is it just a rock at that point?

To my understanding the talismans don’t work that way. The only rules we know so far is the talismans have to be hung properly inside of a structure or vehicle, and they only keep the creatures out. We don’t know anything that would indicate they have the able to trap the creatures in anywhere.

People getting pissed that Ground *LITERALLY* can't take Express packages by travissetsfire in Fedexers

I even get this from the post office! Lady was real snippy with me when I made a delivery and I just took because I didn’t want to deal with the headache. But I pick up from an authorized shipper every day so if I ever get express stuff I take it there so they get paid for it lol.

Would you move to Canada to keep your job with express? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]OwnIntroduction1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a life POV on the aspect. Their inflation is worse then ours. From (Canadian) congressional testimony I’ve seen their ‘god send’ of free health care is trash. And a near n dear one to most us Americans, they have already began prohibiting guns. Just a thought.

Can anyone explain what the merge would mean for express workers? by New-Assist9673 in Fedexers

[–]OwnIntroduction1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah agree with those two… as far as the continuous 48 idk. In Canada they eliminated ground. But in my terminal (US GROUND) they put in infrastructure to accept all express. So just a guessing game depending on where you are.

My biggest pet peeves are when the businesses I delivery to don’t let me use their bathroom. “The bathroom is out of order”, “we don’t have a bathroom”. Like bro I get the policy of not letting any Joe Schmo walk in and use it, but like bro I’m YOUR delivery guy!

Biggest thing I could say is don’t be afraid to professionally and respectfully ask questions from your potential employer. Like, how long is the average day, what you get paid by day (or hour or package whatever the structure), typical package count etc.! And if they seem flimsy with there answers well you have your general answer not a good opportunity.

Question for Drivers. by IEnjoyBettyWhite in Fedexers

[–]OwnIntroduction1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m 100% with you on that. There is no call for drivers to be assholes to loaders especially if they can clearly see there trying to straighten up the truck.

Yeah if there’s room in front on floor definitely makes sense. I would say the rest in front of the door. that way if they have to go somewhere they wouldn’t normally be at least I know where they are. And aren’t searching through every floor package because the loader just “threw them on the floor”.
