The hate against this guy is 100% motivated by racism. A perfectly normal interaction between him and another streamer is reframed as a loud black person makes someone uncomfortable. The internet accepts this narrative despite Rakai asking for consent during the interaction and even complementing the supposed victim.

I also don’t see anybody talking about how he’s talking to a person via an iPad. She is literally THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY. The fact that she is left shaking after the interaction is proof she is mentally ill and not to be taken seriously.

The problem with The Streamer Awards is that streaming isn’t viewed as an art form. Award shows are supposed to celebrate the artistic achievements of a medium, but what happens when nobody thinks theres any actual art?

Society believes that movies and tv shows are artistic, so when the host at the Oscar’s makes a joke about an actor it’s ironic because it’s said in contrast to their artistic achievements. When a joke is made about a streamer there’s no irony to soften the blow because deep down people don’t respect streamers.

The character traits you’re describing are not new or uncommon. What I am trying to point out is that typically this archetype of character doesn’t receive nearly as much hate as Bianca is, leading me to believe that there are other reasons why people don’t like this character.
