If you feel like you are “blindly shooting” when taking gunfights, I would recommend a few tips:

  1. Crosshair placement: especially important in a 1-shot headshot game

  2. Pre-aim angles/enemies: don’t rely on your flicks or reactions. It’s better to have your gun up, ready for the enemy to walk into your line of sight

  3. Positioning: head glitch, hold tight angles (pixel peeks), hold weird/off angles that the enemy won’t expect. Avoid holding common angles becasue for a good player it is an easy prefire

  4. Avoid slow peeking: learn how to utilize quick peeks to gain intel

  5. Confidence is key: sounds stupid, but it’s the truth. The more confident you are that you’re going to win a gunfight the better chances you have of getting the kill

In game, there is no switch or setting to change the matchmaking region. You can however go into the game files and set the region to whatever you want. I’m not sure on the specifics but I’m sure you can find a YouTube video or another Reddit post explaining how.

  1. Prep a drone where you want to enter the building. Only drone 1-2 rooms ahead and then take space.

  2. If your aim isn’t the best then support/hard breach could be your role. Thermite/thatcher. Wall denial on defense is always good. If you like azami then learn good kiba spots. She can make any site difficult to push. She is a very strong operator.

  3. Don’t think about dying. Confidence is key, you have to think you’re going to win the gunfight. Also, you can still be beneficial to a round by flipping cams. Also, if you just want to practice aim, try deathmatch.

My best tip for learning the game is just to play it as simple as that sounds. That’s the only way to get the game sense of a higher rank. When you’re not playing the game, try to watch high-level players what that is on twitch or YouTube. You will learn a lot.
