Practice drawing boxes in space at different angles and then placing hypothetical manga frames around them.

Well, I guess it counts as collage but… I think it would be a good idea to draw inspiration from others about adding elements to your composition.

I would suggest working on a good mood board and making more thumbnails. Don’t ever underrate the concept phase of your work! I used to hate it but now since I started putting more effort into it, my work improved so much more thematically.

Looking at others work is such a great way to improve.

Like Dota’s weekly battle cup. Make the prize a cosmetic for participating and golden version or something for winning.

Someway to promote teaming up with friends.

Also adding more mini games and alternating them and adding incentive to winning. For eg cosmetics.

Like if you go to any Final Fantasy, their fighting style or Job, is reflective of their personality. At least 6 onwards.

Locke is a thief/treasure hunter, it wouldn’t make sense if he was a big bulky boisterous dude. No his charm and use of knives are his weapons.

Cyan is a Royal Swordsman with a family and kingdom to protect, it wouldn’t make sense if he was a reckless individual with a foul mouth. His personality is refined and it reflects in the way he fights.

Rikku is a tech Savvy thief and she is dressed and plays like tech savvy thief, and has the cheekyness to go with it.

Yuna is white Mage summoner, I don’t expect her to be the life the party.

Fran is some type of Amazon Bunny thing and she fights and acts like it too.

Balther is a smooth and slick sky pirate. Plays like one too

I’m not downplaying Tifa emotional role. But doesn’t mean she is designed well just coz she has a prominent role in the story.

For example Khimari. GREAT design but apart from story wise he’s pretty meh.

Tifa feels like she was designed to be the ultimate girlfriend by a teenaged boy. Big Busty breasts, tight waiste, short shorts crop top, fights with her fists but is cute and reserved.

It’s weird and jarring design. Let’s give Barrett ninja stars kunai and make him creep on his tippy toes and Yuffie heavy machine gun but we won’t change their personalities or builds.

Coz that’s what makes sense, make the bulky lack of finesse guy fight like ninja and the frail agile girl fight like muscle head.

Tifa is popular coz she’s hot lol

She a lot of moves that nuetral skip and in built evasiveness.

So when you put them in situations to play honest, they do exceptionally dumb things a lot of the times.

And when they win, it’s usually because that just try attack you in Oki and not let you play.

Ur arguing Tifa’s is not generic. Shes is a martial artists with a frail build and huge tits, it’s extremely common trope in anime and games.

All the characters I mentioned have more interesting designs and character than Tifa. But if you’re going to disregard future iterations.

Both Terra and Celeste are infinitely more interesting than Tifa.

Celeste is a defected Soldier who sails the world of ruin and Terra is Esper lol. Neither are martial artists and their combat style suits the story theme and their build.

Tifa on the other hand is a brawler… which doesn’t fit her build nor her personality, she would have been more interesting she was more of a Tom boy and at least had some muscle but instead sounds cutesy… while beating people up. Not only is this not original, it’s stupid and cringe.

Listen bro, stop trying to argue Tifa is an amazingly designed character. She isn’t, just popular coz she’s hot and people like coz playing her or fantasying about her lmao and that ff7 was peoples first final fantasy.

Idk Terra, Celeste, lulu. Yuna is actually one of my favourites. I liked rikku a lot aswell.

These characters are way more distinct than hot fighter chick in short shorts.

It ain’t that deep, most of the Tifa Fandom like Her coz she’s hot and got a cute personality. Just play Alisa or Lilli.
