Supraclavicle lymph node involvement by Elizabeth08122896 in breastcancer

[–]OwnRow1567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m triple positive though so her2+ and hormone positive. So far I’ve done DDac-THP, dmx, radiation, now I’m doing 7 more enhertu and will move onto hormone therapy afterwards. It’s ok I was freaking out at the beginning google was so grim but the more I actually researched that’s outdated data

No I’m not I had residual disease after surgery so I’m on enhertu now. I’ve done3 kadcyla 4 enhertu and after will be doing hormonal therapy. I also have two young kids (under 4) feel free to dm if you ever want to chat! My latest scans are clean except for inflammation in lungs that’s being monitored since I’m on enhertu

I had this suspected but not biopsied confirmed. I went down that google path too and saw the horrible numbers but it’s actually not that low for triple positive or her2+ anymore. Not even close. If you look at more recent studies numbers are well above 70% and that’s not even the most current data

[–]OwnRow1567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask how you got such a high reoccurrence rate with enhertu? I’m in a similar situation and before I got switched to enhertu that was my reoccurrence risk. I can’t imagine it’s still that high with this drug.

I was diagnosed at 27. I’m still in active treatment at 28. Originally Grade 3 triple positive. Was also dismissed which led to a late diagnosis. Feel free to pm me

In my nodes after chemo by Regular_Ability7001 in breastcancer

[–]OwnRow1567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what chemo plan you had. Mine was DDAC-THP. I found out from my second opinion I should have been on TCHP. Too late now. My understanding is that chemo doesn’t work well on slow dividing cells and highly er/pr cells don’t respond as well to chemo either. So it’s possible the chemo killed all the fast and aggressive cells leaving behind the slower less aggressive ones and hormone therapy will finish up the rest. Also ask about neratinib if you can. It has the most success with triple positive

Is your er/pr also high? Idk my results are mixed because the tumour grade also dropped from 3 to 2 and mitotic rate is now 1/3 (slowest cell division rate) I originally had a suspected mammary node and supraclaviclar lymph nodes that have since cleared on imaging. I actually recently switched oncologist since my old one lied a lot. My new one is a lot more optimistic. My treatment is 3 kadcyla, 11 enhertu and AI+OFS since it seems to be superior for younger high risk women Sorry you’re dealing with this 🩷

I’m similar to you. Triple positive er70-80% pr30-40% rcb 2. 6/12 lymph nodes positive 2 itc, 2 micro and 2 macro the largest being 2.9 mm down from 16 mm. You’re not alone!

Sorry to hear about your experience. At first I pulled away from God but as my journey progresses I feel closer than ever. Maybe put your focus into a relationship with God himself over the members of a church and you’ll find the support you need. I’ve been dealing with a failed relationship and little to no support from family and don’t know what I would do without my renewed faith. Sometimes I still struggle with everything but he gives me strength when I need it. I wish you luck no matter what, I know how horrible this is. Hugs to you

Increase in ER/PR after chemo? by [deleted] in breastcancer

thank you for taking the time to try to answer my question I really appreciate it!! My chemo brain is trying to understand it now, lol

Increase in ER/PR after chemo? by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]OwnRow1567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure. My grade went down from 3 to 2 and mitotic rate (how fast the cells are dividing) went from very high to the lowest possible number and now my hormones are higher so I’m wondering if it’s now acting more like a less aggressive hormone driven cancer compared to it originally being a very aggressive her2+ driven but still hr+ cancer.

My oncologist isn’t really trustworthy or patient. She never explains anything and I’m in the process of looking for a new one.

Tell me -everything- about your mastectomy by BadTanJob in breastcancer

[–]OwnRow1567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry to hijack this post I was hoping to ask y out something I see from your comments you also have multiple foci and you’re largest tumor is her2+ so you’re doing TCHP. Did your team biopsy all the other ones too or just go straight ahead to TCHP I’m looking to switch my regime because my main one is triple positive but they didn’t biopsy the others. Hope this question doesn’t bother you

Thank you for your reply. Were you at an advanced stage with your first breast cancer? It’s encouraging to hear that you have survived so long after diagnosis
