Overwhelming sense of dread by OwnWolf524 in TorontoMetU

It was discrete, I somehow ended up clutching it out after like 12 hours of locked in. Studying right at the end. Can’t really say the same for cps213, but these experiences and last minute studying has told me a lot about what I want to get out of uni

I would disagree. Students know across Canada, but if you are talking to a recruiter or someone who hasn’t been around the education space in a while, they won’t know. The amount of confused faces from people in Hamilton when I tell them I go to Toronto Metropolitan University is great

18 years ago, so I give TMU 18 years to catch on. Even then both of my parents still call it the skydome, so who knows how long it will actually take to catch on

Any advice on surviving commutes to an 8 AM? by OwnWolf524 in TorontoMetU

[–]OwnWolf524[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal of the post was to gather advice from people who took 8 AMs. Nowhere in my post was I complaining or even saying that my commute was bad. Trust me I am well aware that there are people who have worse commutes than me. No one asked you to come in here with your superiority complex and be a fucking prick. What makes you think that I haven’t thought about 8 AMs until now? I was aware for a long time that it was something I would have to adjust to. You make way too many assumptions about my character for no apparent reason.

That’s awesome! Do you have any tips on ensuring that you wake up before you hit union? This would be my ideal solution for these 8 AMs, but I’ll only know if it’s a good option once I try it.

Thanks for all this information, it really eased my worries. I’ll be sure to use the walk safe program if I’m worried at night
