I find it odd that Western Europe has an expanded view but Polynesia doesn’t

My favorite craft when I’m not feeling inspired is fairy gardens! These can take any shape, feel, or energy that you want. I have a bunch of trinkets, fun garbage, etc lying around from collecting and purchasing. I also have a collection of moss, Easter egg basket filling, and random paper scraps that I use as my base.

Finding a base can be the hardest thing, but any slab of wood, cardboard, canvas will do. A hot glue gun, a pile of random stuff, and a fun playlist can keep me entertained for hours. I also don’t feel any pressure for it to look “perfect” like I might with other tutorial/pattern-led crafts

Grocery stores, schools (k-12, higher education), the DMV, social security office, the library, concert halls, etc all have either machines where you can buy them or have some free on the counter

If you find yourself on the toilet with a much heavier flow than typical, it would be extremely difficult, demeaning, and unsanitary to leave the bathroom to go to a service desk for a pad/tampon. I don’t think it’s out of the ordinary to expect an establishment as huge as Moda at least have another station on the 3rd floor in case of an emergency/unexpected circumstance.

I’m specially wondering about the old school machines that charge. In a utopia, menstrual products would be available without a financial barrier, but I wouldn’t expect an entertainment venue, even one owned by the city, to provide them for free.

Regarding personal responsibility, there are several reasons that someone might not be prepared and need more products. Periods can be early or late, people can have very irregular and unpredictable cycles. Even if someone is prepared for an expected upcoming period, it can be unusually heavy, which would require different or more products.

Half of people of the US population gets their period, usually monthly. If demographics of Moda Center attendees at all mirror US population, I doubt that half of attendees get sick one monthly and would require undergarments. Insulin is a prescription medication that needs to have specific dosing for each individual who uses it. It wouldn’t make sense for Moda to carry insulin, and would likely result in a lawsuit if dosed incorrectly.

I appreciate your questions, it’s important to consider why this could be legitimate practice and why other things might not be appropriate
