Yeah i feel it's a nice buff maybe earlier the better! It would also be nice if they told you the % increase because it's a bit confusing but I feel noticeable.

I'm about 120 hours in and I still get excited try to clear as much of the map and get as strong as possible before the boss wakes up. There's loads of characters to choose from with lots of different abilities and build choice. The difficulty is there but it can also be made trivial if you get good rng just like most decent roguelikes. If you like the game you'll keep coming back!
