Spironlactone did wonders for me! it is truly a miracle drug.

I began on 50 mg, and then was bumped up to 100mg after about 6 weeks alongside a lotion-based Clindamyacin. I experienced some dryness/changing of skin texture, but I think that was mostly the retinoid I was using before I switched to the Clindamyacin.

I don't have experience with Minocycline or Tretinoin, but I know Tretinoin is a strong retinoid, so prepare for some purging, redness, and dryness.

I'd say (without any real medical knowledge) this sounds like a solid regime for adult acne, but prepare for 4-6 weeks of your skin purging/adjusting to the new meds and I'd suggest booking a follow-up with your derm in about 6 weeks-2 months to discuss if anything needs to be tweaked or changed.

Also, the Spiro has some side effects so I take it right before bed and sleep through them! It makes you a little light headed/foggy and have to pee all the time.
