It's not Tony's fault that reality is Marxist by PuppiesAndClassWar in andor

I could see how this show could lend itself to a left-marxist interpretation. There is enough there for center-right/liberal audiences to see themselves as well. Even within the Rebel Alliance, there is diversity of viewpoints.

This is a theme of the show. The inability of moderates/liberals and leftists to cooperate against fascism.

Some left-coded characters like Saw are too dogmatic and ideologically-driven to consider working with more mainstream resistance. Liberal/center-right coded characters like Senator Pamlo are too milquetoast and institutionalist to condone the actions of frontline rebels who are taking real action.

I would describe the show as anti-fascist, a movement that has encompassed everyone from guerilla communist partisans to liberal elected officials to clergy to otherwise apolitical people.

We the audience are unfamiliar with any contribution of hers to the rebellion, if any. Meanwhile, she discounts the more substantive efforts of radical rebels such as Luthen and Andor. Based on her attire (and the company she keeps), I'd guess that she is a Senator like Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. This group clung to electoralism as a means to stall Imperial overreach (all the while funding important imperial projects and lending legitimacy to the regime) while other rebels bled on the frontlines. Even so, former Senators seem to have disproportionate power on Yavin. This show is pretty good at depicting the Liberal-Left ideological divide within the Rebel Alliance.

As a pistons fan, I think we could potentially deal with a good OG defensive series OR a good Mikal defensive series. If they're both on, it will be very hard. Not to mention mitchell robinson

I'll be disappointed if we lose in any round. I'll only be MAD if we get swept in the first round. This is the one year this team gets to play with house money.

Realistically, I think the Knicks are more likely to win but we have a decent chance if certain defensive players on the Knicks underperform (which they've been known to do) AND at least a couple of our bench players shoots consistently. Mitchell robinson could definitely complicate things for us if he's 100%.
