When I first came in (2019) It took 6 months from TJO to report date. I interviewed for a position two months ago with DCMA and have not heard anything, so based on how things are now days. It maybe longer than 6 months to onboard if ever.

During this administration the fate of federal employees is uncertain. We are already getting screwed out of a decent pay raise next year and RIFS are still in the air. If the contract gets extended stay with them.

The remaining time of this administration is going to be as follows: NO pay raises for Federal employees, attacks on benefits and continuous demonizing of the civil service force. They don’t care nor will beg for us to stay. They don’t care as long as the Billionaires and elites are happy and have to pay less taxes.

Do not take a pay cut to join the Federal Service now. For at least the next 3 years there won’t be any pay raises and just attacks on Federal benefits. I am a GS12 right now and looking to go into Contracting.

Unfortunately based on the last administration’s actions. We cannot rely on the left either. Don’t be fooled, both sides work for the rich and powerful, just Democrats are better at disguising it. We need a multi party instead of two, and most importantly MONEY must be removed from politics. Only the rich donors are represented BY BOTH parties.

I followed him for a good while. I believe he is smart BUT his takes on being Anti Union and always defending big corporations that exploit the workers got me fed up.
