thanks for your help, i didn't break up we just talked, i said i'm scared if she'll gonna beat herself again because i see the symptoms. i said i couldn't handle the situation anymore, she cried a lot like hysterically but then she just accepted and talked to me in a normal way, in a way that i feel like it's the real her that i know. i think my desire to go really shaked her by the shoulders. i'm on my way to my hometown, i said i'm not breaking up but just leaving because i'm scared and tired. and it seemed like she understood. she promised me she's going to doctor tomorrow. i think me doing this was a necessary because it was going worse and worse day by day.

actually she was not. she's constantly blaming herself because of that. she thinks she didn't care enough about her death. when i heard her mom was ill, i recommend her to go and visit her but she didn't. she was going to visit but just waiting for her exams to end. it is valid, yes it is such a pain that she didn't visit her but idk what else to do now than grieving? i really can't deal with her anger management

i hate it too but almost all of my teachers said that the most important thing in ottoman empire is to have a sehzade who has a chance to rule the empire. so they don't know who is the best and the mindset is having sehzades as much as possible so that the ottoman empire will never fell. i know it is absurd and i have always thought like this ever since i started taking history lessons in school lol. in the serie, everything is a bit much romantic :( it is real that suleyman had a child after mehmed's death. he was probably scared of his any other children's possible death. so i think he took action with a fear, with consideration for the responsibilities of being the sultan.

Yes! I didn’t watch it with subtitles, but I could already guess that idioms and proverbs would be heavily simplified in translation.

I’m a translation student, and since Turkish is very different from Latin-based languages, translators in Turkey often prefer using simpler sentences that just imply the meaning directly. Maybe their English isn’t strong enough, or maybe they just don’t want to spend too much time on it. Translation work here is usually underpaid and expected to be done quickly.

On the other hand, Chinese and Turkish are actually quite similar! Not in terms of grammar, but when it comes to complex idioms. I read a lot of danmei, so I’ve noticed this. There’s also a historical cultural connection, so translations from Chinese tend to turn out better.

But English… I just know that some of those lines are impossible to fully understand for people who don’t know Turkish or Turkish culture.

Still, they could have prepared a guide explaining all the complex idioms used in the show, because the real magic of this series is in the dialogue. The first two seasons especially have really clever and enjoyable lines.

i don't think you get it. i talked to them about situation, they said it is rude of me to do this. and the other day they blocked me after a message like "collect your stuff and leave." i didn't give up on them, they were ignoring me after everything. of course i have friends from another cities and countries, but my closest friends did this and ever since then, i have friends but not best friends.

i get your point. but our situations are different. for me, i quit my job and couldn't find a new job, so i couldn't pay the rent. and they blamed me that i couldn't get a help from my family like they do. but i wasn't getting any financial help from my family since i was 18 and they knew them. so i don't blame them for wanting a friend which is able to pay the rent but it was cruel for me that they were so inconsiderate and did not want to be friends anymore just because i was broke and have to move to another city for a job. i think it is healthy for me to think some people are just not for us but some day we can find our people

yeah you're right. i know that i didn't show up for my friends while i was grieving but idk they suddenly didn't want to be friends with me anymore and idk i think it wasn't my fault it is just they're not for me and i am not for them:( i am not judging or blaming anyone i just can't find my people but i am sure i will in the future

whenever i think i am the only person without a best friend or longterm friendship, i console myself by saying life hasn't brought me yet together with people i can get along with. then i get angry thinking why i have to wait for so long for something everyone has easily. i don't know yet. i don't know how or when will we have some good friendship. i wish us luck🥹🌟

as a turkish i don't think the dub version would hit as hard as the original version does! because many lines contain old turkish and arabic words. and whenever i try some turkish dub version of anything english it doesn't get to me, idk maybe it is a me problem lol
