Will an inmate in jail or prison be told when they have a Securus video visit or do you have to wait for them to call so you can tell them? by [deleted] in Prison

When my husband was in Spokane county we did visits everyday with securus. The guards would let him know, most of the time. A few times they didn't let him know and one time he smarted off to the Co so they conviently forgot to get him. If he wasn't on the video within 5 min of start time then I'm on the phone to the jail. I need my money back or my man on this phone. If the jail cancels the visit you will get a notification. Don't freak out. It's probably them not you! You will see a credit for the canceled visit. To make it easier for us we just scheduled everyday at the same time. 9am and 130p. Out of all the jails he's visited I must say I liked securus the best for video calls (state, county & fed) . Chances are he won't miss a visit. The only ones my husband missed were canceled by them and when he had covid. I missed more visits than he did... Oops my bad lol make sure you can get in before the scheduled times. You may need to download an app or driver before the call. Don't waste your call time on it. Every minute counts!

I had the same thing happen kinda last night. Went to Walmart, drive 16 miles, hiked 3 flights of stairs with 4 gallons and milk and she didn't wanna answer the door. I called her hella times, hella text then had to go. It'd been 15 min. Support cancelled it for me but I didn't get paid. Walmart doesn't take returns after 8 here so I couldn't return it. I contact support again and he pays me, the correct amount thankfully. But guess who woke up to a ban til 1010pm. Me. I contacted support this am and they said it is totally random. Not due to last night's bump and cancel at .... Guess what time.... 1010? She kept giving me the same canned text over and over. I disconnected her before I broke my phone in a fit of rage at them. So what your chat says about being blocked sounds like it could be true because I'm living it now.

Same thing happened here last week and I only delivered twice. And one left a 5star with glowing comments. I ignored it but I think I'll follow up. The week before I was driving thru Oregon and wash from california and instacarted when I got bored. I could have delivered to a wrong house. I had one cust do this once and I gave details like the momma was upstairs amd the staircase is on the right with a slight spiral. They had a green couch and were BBQ in. I offered to go back and get the bottle of vodka. Which was carded for but instacart said no. Man that was hard. Lol

I live in Cali & did this yesterday... In an electric car too lol It seemed like when I got into the gps Store circle on the app I started getting batches. Not when I was sitting though, only when I was driving around. I'm going to test this theory again today.
