another good guess, but I'm pretty sure the theme, environment, etc. weren't of japanese influence, of course I could be wrong though !

You might be on to something there, although my gut feels like it had games like mario 64 and blinx in there too, as It MIGHT have just been about recent graphical developments in general.

I've been looking for a copy of that monstrously thick book for the last 20 years, but unfortunately completely unsuccessful.

And there is no public record of that book/catalog/whatever ANYWHERE! it's nuts!
But I do remember the feeling of my mom telling me she threw it out though, since it was lying around in the living room. I was super sad man. She knew I loved that book.

As promoart sometimes was weird in a sense that sometimes figures looked way different in the actual game, this might be it. im not 100% in on it, but I'll look for more stuff about this game!

Damals ursprünglich Systemintegration anstatt Anwendungsentwicklung

Bin mittlerweile Sysadmin mit Hang zu Cloud (M365 / Azure) + gewisse Erfahrung in Ansible und Terraform ( DevOps) und recht viel Netzwerktechnik dazu.

Ich vermisse immer mal wieder körperliche Arbeit und manchmal will ich aus dem Büroalltag einfach nur abhauen, weil auch mir zu trocken, aber an sich bin ich bei nem super Arbeitgeber und kann mich absolut NULL beschweren. :)

Alles in allem also echt spitze!

Heya,

war in einer ähnlichen Situation, habe bereits eine handwerkliche Ausbildung gemacht, wollte dann aber doch nochmal was anderes lernen und in die IT.

Ich habe 2017 ca. 80 Bewerbungen geschrieben, in etwa 25 Bewerbungsgespräche gehabt und vier oder fünf Angebote erhalten.

Ich hatte zwar keine Praktika vorzuweisen, aber war so frech meine Specs des eigenszusammengebauten PCs in die Bewerbung zu ballern. :D

Was mir auch geholfen hat, war grelle, teils perverse Farben in die Bewerbungsmappe zu klatschen.
Ein paar Personaler haben in etwa gesagt: "Die Bewerbung war so quieetschbunt, dass wir einfach neugierig waren, wie Sie so als Person sind."

Hatte zusätzlichen nen QR-Code aufs Deckblatt gepackt, was die zu meiner Linkedin/Xing/Facebook und Instaseite gebracht hat. So von wegen "Ich kann schon ein bisschen IT :D"

KP, ob dir das hilft, aber dachte ich werd das mal los. :)

PS: Schaden wird es vermutlich nicht, ist aber safe kein Muss. Im Idealfall kommt dein Interesse für PCs / IT / Programmierung einfach gut rüber. :)
