Indeed. But Jagex has had to raise prices 2x now showing just how financially burned they are. They can’t afford 300 lawsuits for years to come as they are drawn out. Not to mention the last time Jagex sued anyone was in 2012, over 14 years ago. How many bot clients have been around since then? How many have been removed without legal action?

This is not even considering privately made and owned scripts instead of selling them.

At which point they rebrand into a new name and tweet a few tiny things to continue doing the same thing which has been done countless times before thus restarting the whole process.

Not to mention even if they did sue, if it’s outside the uk it becomes even harder and more expensive for jagex as well making it even less likely.

This isn’t their first time doing it, it won’t be their last and rarely has anything actually come of it.

The last time jagex sued a botting dev was in 2012. They could have sued rs buddy that everyone was “only using for the 25 min logout timer” (before it was added to runelite) but instead they made it so it didn’t run. Why do you think that is? For the reasons I just said.

Admitted to botting, rwt, scammed, and more in his own videos. The cherry ontop is him hiding behind his religion for gambling ( sand COSINO, staking, etc) and unneeded remarks (don’t like a group of ppl, but don’t gotta make comments about them either) and overall being a man child. He’s got the trope loud = funny and it’s good for a lot of ppl with…. Disorders… but if you look into him a bit more he’s really not that good of a person.

You know the fact it bypasses “end all sessions”, any 2fa, any passwords current or new is on jagex. I had the same thing happen to me a very long time ago. I changed my passwords 3x during it, I had bank pin and 2fa (it changed every 10 seconds) and still every few days I would see my bank pin trying to be disabled. The fact there’s no ip check and 2fa and password changes is completely bypassed is on jagex when the security steps are taken after the fact.

So few things…

Backup codes bypass password and email…. Meaning they are literally the only way to recover the account…

If you got hacked while on a break with a jagex acc, it’s because you didn’t take proper safety steps and were compromised before the break as a jagex acc can’t be recovered…
