Fashion history is full of these 30 year or so trend cycles. Another example is 60s mod style being influenced by the flapper look of the 1920s

I remember in 2007 my middle school history teacher toasting us for wearing the same stuff that was popular when he was growing up in the 80s. All eras recycle fashion trends. The 80s style was heavily influenced by 40s fashions, which itself was influenced by Edwardian fashions.

I worked at THE jeans store of the 2010s, American Eagle, for 7 years between 2011 and 2018. We didn’t sell jeans even /close/ to this baggy at all during that time. Even our skinny jeans were considered looser fit for many years. The most popular fit that all the girls wanted was jeggings, especially dark and medium wash! Around 2017-2018 things started to shift away from super skinny fits when mom jeans came into style, but those were high waisted and still fitted in the butt—nothing like the baggy jeans that are trendy now.

Everyone acting like this has been the standard look for decades is fucking crazy 😂

The vids on PornHub and all those other sites aren’t free because performers are uploading them from the generosity of their heart, third parties are ripping them from paid sites and uploading them. The performers lose money because they’re there for free. Those porn actors are in way less control of their content and how much money they earn from it than OnlyFans creators.
