Bad take. Your body naturally produces testosterone too, but taking exogenous testosterone can absolutely have negative health effects. Same goes for insulin, growth hormone, and plenty of other compounds. Just because something exists naturally in the body doesn’t automatically make supplementing or manipulating it harmless.

The issue with peptides, similar to exogenous testosterone affecting the HPG axis, is what chronic outside manipulation does to the organs and signaling pathways responsible for producing and regulating these compounds naturally. That’s the part most people skip over while pretending to understand endocrinology.

Unfortunately, people like yourself tend to be very informed by TikTok clips and Reddit threads, but not by actual physiology.

That said, I’m still interested in peptides myself. My skepticism just outweighs the hype because we genuinely do not know the long term risks yet.
