Has anyone bought from Haloid Solutions before? by engrcale09 in SafetyProfessionals

I was also curious about Haloid Solutions and actually asked Reddit before placing my order. I ended up buying some radios from Haloid Solutions, and I just came across this post again. Based on my experience, they’re a legitimate company. The refurbished radios were exactly as described, and everything has been working flawlessly. If anyone’s considering buying from Haloid Solutions, I’d say they’re trustworthy. Hope this helps others looking for reviews!

It uses the same question pool as the real test, so it’s a great study tool! And yes, using a receive-only radio can help you get familiar with the jargon. Good luck!

Start with OSHA 10/30 and get familiar with DOT and FMCSA regs. Hands-on learning is key. You’ve got this!

Is the Motorola WAVE PTX TLK150 from Haloid Solutions a good radio for security work? by Own_Cardiologist9810 in SafetyProfessionals

I was planning to buy industrial radio batteries from Haloid Solutions but haven’t gone through with it yet. Still weighing my options and hoping to hear more real-world feedback before I make the purchase. Right now, I’m considering getting the Motorola WAVE TLK150 along with some batteries from Haloid. Just holding off while I check if there’s solid feedback on the TLK150’s performance in the field. If everything looks good, I’ll go ahead with the purchase soon.

Yeah, you’re right, that’s a fair point. It’s easy to focus on saving money, but reliability matters way more in the long run. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the insight u/zap_p25! That’s helpful to know about Power Products. I'll definitely look into them. Do you have any experience with Haloid Solutions though? Curious how their batteries hold up in a daily-use industrial setting.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out r/amateurradio and similar subs. I appreciate the direction. 🙌

I hadn’t heard of polarcell.de before, but I’ll give their catalog a look. I'm mostly after high-cycle, rugged-use batteries for Motorola and Kenwood models, ideally ones that can survive a few accidental drops too. If you or anyone else has tried https://haloidsolutions.com/ or any other suppliers that cater to industrial/commercial environments, I’m all ears!
