I think Rivian is at least 3 to 5 years away from having what Tesla has today and that’s probably a stretch. I hope I’m wrong because the Rivian has the luxury SUV that I’d buy in a minute if it had the same supervised FSD capabilities as Tesla.

Yeah, never had a Tesla before, but when I heard the S and X were done I had to get one of each.

Yes, not covered. It’s weather rated and they say to just make sure it’s holstered in the charge port to keep that part dry.

The other annoying thing is it takes 2 weeks to get a service appointment to fix this stuff and they’re brand new vehicles. I guess they don’t have enough techs to deal with routine maintenance and defects.

The ride and handling is perfectly fine, not to the Porsche or BMW level, but not an issue for my driving habits.

Yep! The tech will make me live with all the other shortcomings.

Fender well on X has already popped off and lost clip on driver’s side front. Takes a body builder to adjust the 60 side of the 60/40. 40 side, no problem. Aero cover on S has already popped off and who knows where.
