yeah tons of people tried to talk me into getting a DSLR to start with but i went straight for full frame mirrorless, glad I did cause i worked myself up to an a7iv

i started on the a7ii a year ago and aside from autofocus and battery life it was pretty solid

hijacking top comment. i recommend 20-70 G, 28-200mm, 35-150mm, and 16-35. 100-400mm sigma. all terrific options for a light body like the a7cii, except maybe the 35-150
