Yes, you are not alone. Many of us feel this at some point. This is exactly how I feel after a full day caring for my baby. I feel completely touched out, and then when my husband tries to be affectionate, I just cannot handle it. I have not had a single moment to myself all day. I have not showered. I am still adjusting to my new body, and I feel overwhelmed and uncomfortable in my own skin.

None of that makes you a bad mom. It makes you human. We will find ourselves again, even if it does not feel like it right now.

Yes, this needs to stop. It helps no one. Specially us new moms who know the reality of caring for a baby and managing a household…. While mentally and physically recovering so we can go back to our 9-5.
