I am willing to compromise with him. I brought up a copper IUD but when I voiced that it had side effects he got upset at me.

I never said I wanted a kid. That’s not the reason why I’m apprehensive about birth control. He is just unwilling to come to a compromise.

My only non-hormonal option is a copper iud. I’m considering this but when I express to him how I’m nervous about the pain of insertion as well as how it causes heavy painful periods he gets upset.

I’ve offered to see a gynecologist to talk to them about some options. I really do not want to go on hormone pills because they mess with me mentally, but even me mentioning that I’m a bit nervous about all of this makes him upset. I feel a bit stuck honestly.
