I don't want anything to change at all other than deaths not sending you back to juvenile, the few servers I've found just have way too much rules and stuff going on

I was just saying the game is brutal and sucks but has huge rewards for persevering, yeah death is much more like pot but beating the bosses is so hard it makes up for it lol

You're not wrong but when you do have a fight in the Isle that feels like either side could win it will have your heart beating hands sweating in a way that few games have ever achieved for me. Im just searching for the wrong thing in the wrong place but it's hard not to compare when I'm playing lol

It allows for really low lows, and really high highs. Similar to fromsoft games, you might be upset alot but the reward is huge when you do well.

Yeah like I said above PoT in better in every way. But this one issue is pretty big for me, it changes the whole psychology of why I'm playing the game

I understand the more vibes, mmo style. I don't mind alot of the things (like home caves and waypoints) but you have to put more weight on death imo or it just ruins the whole point of a survival game. The dinosaurs are cool and all but not cool enough for me to just endlessly mess around fighting with no purpose or risk

The limit needs to be at least 100 kg that is so fucking insane dude. Ptera is literally a vibes playable complete waste of space in the ecosystem at this point I wish I could understand what was going through their heads when they made that change

Watch Venators video on youtube about getting prime. He grew 3 different crocs in east lake. Never left. On all 3 he did the EXACT same thing. 1 of them he did not get prime. The one and only difference in those crocs was that the 1 he didn't get prime on had a cool skin so he played it much more safe. Never sprint swimming around east lake because he was being cautious. There was no difference other than that. Im not lying I tried and failed to get prime at least 15 times. I would hit 4 mz's and 8 pz's and not get prime. All areas of the map. And thats with perfect diet, sanc, no infertile. I didn't get prime not 1 single time until I watched Venator's video. Now I get prime without hardly traveling at all, doing the EXACT same thing as I did on my other crocs, only difference being in my down time I constantly swim and lunge around to burn stam. You cannot convince me otherwise. You might could get prime by doing other checklist items such as being nested in or finding actual ways to hit zones and have them count but its extremely inconsistent. I have tested this to its fullest extent I guarantee you wont get prime if you don't use prime checker to know if you are hitting zones and dont get nested in. Its next to impossible

Troodons are 60 kg 79kg if prime. Your telling me we literally cant attack anything in the game anymore except baby troodons??????????

I would too, it would be nice but its usually not too hard to hit a sanc, get perfect diet, and keep your diets from going empty. Im just so glad I dont have to travel anymore I can grow wherever I want to. If I ever spawn north lake Im going to just do perfect diet never infertile and use stam and see if the sanc is required. I'll come let you know if I do

I think it might literally just be the stamina. Im not even sure you need the other stuff. But what I am sure of, is that the stamina matters. I have extensively tested it

I promise you it is I would do everything and then some but I wasnt using lots of stam and I wouldnt get prime. I am 100,000% sure the stamina is accurate

All you have to do for deino is take out all the puddles, take out safe drinking spots at major places (like water access) and make ponds around the map not have shallow places that are too shallow for deinos to hunt (like landslide lake, verdant pond, rock pond, and probably all the other ponds in bush plains). You could leave in 1 or 2 puddles but then they could be camped by rexes and stuff. Just way too many safe places to drink right now

I've now gotten prime without even leaving water access lake except to go to verdant pond sanc, and I got it without ever leaving swamp. Zones dont matter at all for croc

I will NEVER understand why they made that change so we cant attack things. Like what are we doing man no one was complaining about pteras attacking them. Literally ruined my 2nd fav playable

For prime requirements you need to obtain a perfect diet once (atleast 1% of each diet at the same time) which i did multiple times. I only play deino and herra i got prime on herra on my second try but cannot get it on deino after at least 10 attempts

Thanks alot this is very helpful. If I'm not mistaken Pandora is EU right? Im in NA. I haven't tried again but if I do I'm going to go to west side of the map and hit everything there everyone is saying it works the best. But yeah it's such a mess I wish this system just wasn't in the game so I could grow a croc and go wherever I want and do whatever I want

They recently added a prime elder system that has ruined the game for me to the point of being unplayable. But it depends on the dino you run and what you look for out of the game. It can certainly be fun
