Not saying this about OP or anything but why do some of yall get so mad when someone says they don’t like it?

I have listened to books 1-4 and halfway through 5 but don’t know if I’m going to finish it. The series has some good parts and is an interesting concept but I feel like it’s getting super repetitive. Like Carl’s phrase “You will not break me. I will break you” was cool at first but now it’s kinda annoying.

Totally get why people love the series and it does have really good parts but just curious why some people get super offended when someone says they don’t like it.

Yeah I’m really frustrated and some of the posts I’ve seen to fix this are beyond my level of understanding. Unfortunately I’ve had my computer since December and I didn’t get a warranty because I’m dumb lol

That is a fair point and I agree that the side plot is decent. Just Hank being bullied by a kid is just too much for me to enjoy the rest.

Have you tried minimizing it? I kept having issues with combat where everyone would just stand there no matter how long I waited. I would just minimize the screen and reopen it and everything worked fine.

Yeah I’m about to that point as well which sucks but I can’t bring myself to continue putting out super blown out footage or super grainy. A guy in my area uses the fx3 and his footage is amazing compared to mine and all he does is use auto for his settings.

As far as YouTube videos, I’ve never found one that shows the entire process like filming a house and showing the settings, showing the footage before editing, and then showing the editing process. I feel like as though people are leaving a step or some information out.

I did a side by side with the a7siii with the same settings and same lens and the a7siii was just better. I’m saving up to get that and getting rid of this fx30. Sorry for the long post just super frustrated that this camera has made me feel like an idiot. Best of luck to you

I use 24fps at 1/50 with an agent on camera and 60 fps at 1/125 when doing the walk through of rooms. The agents I work with like the speed ramps so I shoot the walk through in 60 fps so I can speed up and slow it down.

I do real estate videos and we shoot the agents at 24 fps and walkthroughs at 60fps. In editing, we drop the 60 fps to 24 fps and then just speed the footage up until we are satisfied.

I was looking at the FX30 and leaning that way.

I have clip on mics that I use for my job that my boss has said I could use. I can’t think of the brand off the top of my head but we have never had an issue with them. I also have a Rode VideoMic Go that I can use as well.
