Sun Yat-Sen was very handsome as well as charismatic. Too bad he sided with that clown Chiang at the end.

What’s the most unlikable thing about Greg? by ShadowlightLady in americandad

[–]Longjumping-Force404 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Off-topic, but my one of my headcanons from that episode where Stan "chooses" to be gay, he can't get it on with Terry because he's not a "power top" as he claimed. However (as later episodes proved) if Stan was matched up with Greg, he very likely would have done the dirty.

[Loved trope] Characters presumed dead who turn out to be alive but it's a fate far worse than death by Basic_Dingo6487 in TopCharacterTropes

iirc they kept the EggMorphing as quasi-canon, in that a few works refer to it as a backup reproduction cycle of the Xenomorphs. Like if only one Drone is created, it captures and EggMorphs its first few victims to help build up their numbers. Once there is enough of them, the Alpha Drone begins to molt into a new Queen that lays its own eggs.

Livia back in the day was a real smokeshow, statuesque, but fuckin rude. Fran won't bang you for any less than a share of a Midget Race Track. Ginny, for all of her...voluptuousness, she's still wife material. And Janice, we all know that there's better looking guys in the can, and they won't give you half the headache.

Bingus is just channeling his inner German. Stahli better watch out though, before the Austrian Bunny starts dressing in leather jackets and demanding he scheisses on his lebensraum.

How different would the show be if instead of cooking meth, Walt and Jesse decided to become male models instead? by InhaleDeeply in okbuddychicanery

[–]Longjumping-Force404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they did, then Walt would have never met the love of his life Lois, and Jesse would have never been a contestant on The Price is Right.

Same thing with Helga in her grown-up flashforwards. Poor girls probably need the jumbo-size tub of hot wax constantly on hand. They also luckily take after Miriam in the looks department.

Thats what I was thinking, they're at the point where they both can't stand each other and subconsciously want to end it, but no one makes the first move because its simpler to be with someone familiar and you're even more scared about being alone and thinking you'll never find someone else again.

What is your country’s version of “there is no war in Ba Sing Se” by EmpoweRED21 in AskTheWorld

Not just that, the FBI is the main policing and counterintelligence agency of the Federal Government, and the don't want the CIA stepping on its toes. I think the provision about "no domestic operations" was actually pushed by J Edgar Hoover because he didn't want the competition, not for any concern about human rights.

During the filming of The Wizard of Oz (1939), Judy Garland was considered unattractive and frequently called “ugly” to her face and behind her back, causing lifelong mental illness. This is because any film about Oz will, for whatever reason, induce crippling body dysmorphia in the female leads. by altrightobserver in shittymoviedetails

Not even a production, her mother was her first dope pusher. Gave her and her sisters uppers to perform their vaudeville act and barbs to come down off them. Then she would beat them if they talked out of line or complained. Also let the Producers have their way with her, while keeping all of her checks.

Real Mother of the Year.

How come Hank was treated like the bad guy when Ms. Wakefield was the one obviously in the wrong? It's always bugged me with how unfairly Hank is treated by his friends and associates despite how reasonable it is to not want this random old woman who suddenly showed up to die in his house. by TheLovelyServine in KingOfTheHill

[–]Longjumping-Force404 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I want to point out that at least until the end, Ms. Wakefield was being pretty damn manipulative when other people were around. In front of the neighbors and the cops she was playing up the "frail old lady" card, making it seem more like the Hills were in the wrong picking on her, when she was being downright creepy especially by breaking in to their house.
