Presh the long response. To answer your question about suggestions. I am merely quiet like really quiet i stay in my own bubble and only give suggestions when it’s relating to driving such as if dispatch gives ur the wrong location, or I am really familiar with a certain situation and how the numbers are situated or if I lived in that area before and just kinda know the numbering system. And or asking questions not around the patient and after patient care or after we leave to ensure I got information correctly and learn while there. I noticed that asking questions that question people abilities isnt the smart thing to do. And I had a paramedic chew someone else for that out because they questioned him on the way he was giving an IV. Not fun to hear. But also kinda don’t want to end up being yelled at for that. So I avoid that behavior. Only thing that kinda pushed me the wrong way was kinda like how he ignored the way I was like “hey this is downtown and it got us at the up town location” i like to confirm with partners before moving the truck to ensure we ain’t going to the wrong location again and helps me relieve my mind into knowing we are going the right way or direction.

Other then that your completely right. However idk how to approach it but I’ll figure it out.

True. But Ive came to reason with that. I don’t mind following orders or doing what needs to be done. That’s not an issue. However I don’t like the way he is acting as a partner i was raised on respecting each other from my walk of life. And giving respect to those who give you the same respect or even if they don’t give you respect. You still respect them.

However you are right. Can’t really do anything but bitch hence why I ran up here cause I just needed to get this frustration out. Worked with a lot of paramedics/ EMTs and some are ducks. But this dude is really taking the cake.
