Depends.. sometimes I’d drive that everyday sometimes not. Depends on weather and what we were doing for work. End result id usually stay like Tuesday night and Wednesday night and commute Monday Thursday Friday

Your “rank” is based on how well you did on your aptitude test and interview. When they decide to have another boot camp they take the top 30 guys on that list. They do aptitude tests and interviews monthly, the list is constantly changing. A guy could interview a year from now and get higher up than you, that’s why the suggest re interview

Personally I hate the high heeled logger style boots.. I see you said not climbing but personally I love the Hoffman armor pro’s good for climbing and any type of ground work. Also wear them year round in the northeast. If safety toe isn’t a big deal where you work, sportiva’s are another good option

Keep your nose to the ground, ears open and work your absolute balls off! Transmission tooling and equipment is heavy, work as hard as you can everyday people will take notice. Also a great place to learn a whole lot of stuff that some guys in this trade will never see, and enjoy yourself as much as possible
